What was the highlight of Dreams Jade Resort & Spa
It was pretty good for the money.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool and pool bar were great and the food was delicious. There were different options for types of food, but the restaurants weren't all open every day for dinner, so that caused very long waits for dinners. Breakfast buffet was great--lots of different food selections, egg station, crepe station, fruits, breads, pastries, etc. The entertainment staff was fun and engaging and the evening shows were great for families.
The room was not cleaned every day and we had to ask every day for towels. They would only give us 3 towels, but there were 4 of us in the room. The shower and sink were not cleaned once during our stay and when we arrived the shower mat was moldy and had hair on it. There is also a terrible sewage smell in certain parts of the resort and in the rooms. Each night, there were only 2 or 3 restaurants open, so the waits were over an hour.

Great spot for families and those who like the all-inclusive experience
There is a lot to like, its the first all-inclusive I've been at and I am a frequent global traveller so my expecations are higher than the average person. I liked the room, especially the large balcony overlookng the adult pools and the beach. Room service was top notch. The staff were expectional in most cases. Club louge worth it - both great service and access to better cocktails. Service at adult only pool exceptional, as were the padded lounge chairs.
The restaurants, with the exception of the buffet, were sub-average - quality was lacking. Most food did not arrive hot. I didn't like the resort's push to see their Vacation Club as I was approached multiple times during my stay by enthusiastic sales people.
